Information security management system is being introduced at GSE
Georgian State Electrosystem began the implementation of ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) Project. An international company Ernst & Young is providing consultation services to GSE in the system introduction. Intensive working meetings with representatives of the company have started since 5 April. The project will last for 16 months. 12 months are required for the system implementation, and 4 months are intended for certification. The ISMS will be developed, implemented and certified within the scope of the project. The Information Security Management System will help GSE to operate more effectively and will ensure adequate protection of all critical information assets within the scope of application taking into account the best international practices.
