Black Sea Region Transmission System Operators Forum 2025

Georgian State Electrosystem hosted the Black Sea Region Transmission System Operators Forum. The event aimed to share modern engineering approaches in the energy sector and deepen cooperation between transmission system operators of the region's countries.

The forum was opened by Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Inga Pkhaladze and Director General of Georgian State Electrosystem Vano Zardiashvili.

It should be noted that the Black Sea Region Transmission System Operators Forum was held in the region for the first time. The main theme of the event was electromagnetic transient process modeling, system dynamic stability and reliability analysis, which plays a crucial role in the continuous and safe operation of modern energy systems.

The event was attended by transmission system operators from Denmark, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova and Romania, as well as representatives of other international energy companies. The forum was also attended by experts from the international organization CIGRE and representatives from various universities in Georgia.

Within the framework of the forum, particular emphasis was placed on innovative and modern engineering approaches that are essential for reliable and efficient functioning of energy systems.

Events of this format not only facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience, but also lay the foundation for creating a new platform for cooperation between transmission system operators in the region in the future.
