Conditions for electricity import
Electricity may be imported in the volume and during the period established by the Electricity (Capacity) Balance; whereas, in emergency situations, the electricity can be imported without being included the Electricity (Capacity) Balance.
If the amount of imported electricity in the normal mode of electricity system operation exceeds the capacity of cross-border transit (interconnection) line and/or the amount established by the Electricity (Capacity) Balance, preference shall be given to the import of electricity, the price of which is the lowest.
