Georgian State Electrosystem Transformer Park Renewal Progressing
Renovation of the Transformer Park of Georgian State Electrosystem continues. In GSE-owned Gldani-220 SS new 220 kV, 200MVA autotransformer was put into operation.
In terms of energy supply, Gldani substation is one of the most important energy nodes providing the most parts of the capital with the electricity power. Until now, only a single autotransformer has been operating at the substation, which, in terms of maintenance, had some risk.
With the introduction of the new transformer, the reliability of the power supply of the capital will significantly increase. Consumers will be provided with continuous, high quality and steady power supply.
