Georgian State Electrosystem and TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Signed an Agreement
Mr. Davit Tvalabeishvili, Chairman of the Management Board of Georgian State Electrosystem, and Mr. Sun Yong, Vice President of the Chinese company TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group, which is one of the largest manufacturers of energy equipment, signed an agreement on the purchase of two autotransformers and six power transformers at the head office of GSE.
The transformers will be installed at Navtlughi, Batumi, Khorga, Gori and Gardabani substations owned by GSE.
With the implementation of the project, the country will meet the increased demand for electricity, the network reliability will increase, and the quality of the voltage parameters provided to customers will significantly improve.
The agreement price makes USD 5 278 900.
The project is planned to be completed by the end of 2019.
