Students from Kvareli and Telavi Public Schools at Georgian State Electrosystem
Georgian State Electrosystem, within the framework of the Energy Training Center project of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, hosted students from Kvareli and Telavi public schools.The students visited the National Dispatch Center located in GSE's headquarters and became familiar with the basic principles of its operation. They toured the control panel equipped with the latest technologies, which is responsible for the smooth operation of the country's energy system.
The students were given presentations by Mariam Kukava, Head of GSE's International Projects and Reporting Department, and Gocha Giorganashvili, Head of the National Dispatch Center's Operational Management Service, about both Georgian State Electrosystem's role in the country's energy development direction, as well as general energy topics, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and the importance of energy independence.
Georgian State Electrosystem has been conducting educational tours for students from schools in Tbilisi and the regions since 2016, which primarily serves to interest the new generation in the field of energy.
