SLR Consulting Representatives’ Visit to GSE
On 2 March 2018, SLR Consulting consultants held a presentation of the Open Transmission Network Expansion Program II for various government agencies at the head office of Georgian State Electrosystem in terms of environmental and social impact assessment. Representatives of Georgian State Electrosystem, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Agriculture, and other agencies of Georgia attended the meeting.
The Open Transmission Network Expansion Program II is being implemented with the support of the German Reconstruction Credit Bank (KfW) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The Program envisages expansion of power transmission network in Georgia through construction and rehabilitation of power transmission lines and substations. SLR Consulting is preparing the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Report for the projects to be implemented within the Program.
