DIgSILENT Representatives’ Visit to Georgian State Electrosystem
A summary working meeting of representatives of German Consulting Company DIgSILENT GmbH, Ukrainian Company DMCC and Georgian State Electrosystem was held at the head office of GSE. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the study results prepared by the DIgSILENT GmbH and DMCC specialists on the integration of renewable energy sources into the Georgian energy system.
During the working meeting, the parties summarized the progress of the project and the results of technical calculations. In the scope of the visit, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia held a presentation on the study results.
The study had been conducted with the purpose of specifying technical parameters of the grid codes for renewable energy sources with variable generation and determining the share of integration, taking into account the sustainability and reliability requirements of the system.
