Delegation of Georgian State Electrosystem Attended the CIGRE Technical Committee Meeting
Delegation of Georgian State Electrosystem attended the technical committee meeting of the Regional Union of South-Eastern European Countries (SEERC) of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) held in Split, Croatia.
At the meeting was discussed CIGRE research group results of electric power questionnaire drafted by South-Eastern European Countries National Committee and Electricity Network.
It was also defined the main topics for Austria 2020 conference, where the first time in the history Georgian engineers and scientists will be involved as participants in the research work.
The International Council on Large Electric Systems is non-profit non-govermental organization, founded in 1921 in France and unites transmission system operators engaged in the field of electricity from all over the world, generators, experts, universities and distribution companies. Since 2018 Georgian State Electrosystem has become an official member of CIGRE.
