Visit of Georgian State Electrosystem Delegation to Ukraine
Delegation of Georgian State Electrosystem, headed by Sulkhan Zumburidze, Chairman of the GSE Management Board, visited the city of Lvov by invitation of Ukrainian System Operator - Ukrenergo.
Working meetings were held between the Ukrainian and Georgian system operators to share experiences.
The Georgian side informed the Ukrainian colleagues about the reforms carried out in the company in recent years. Reforms include development of long-term and short-term planning approaches and methods of both network and system operation. The parties shared experiences and achievements in joining the European Network of Electricity Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-e).
Within the frames of the visit, the GSE delegation visited the 750 kV substation, thermal power plant and hydro-accumulative station.
