Independence Day of Georgia
On May 26, Georgia’s Independence Day, the energy sector was represented in Telavi through a variety of events and activities.
Deputy Ministers of Economy and Sustainable Development, Inga Pkhaladze and Vakhtang Tsintsadze, the Director General of the Georgian State Electrosystem, Vano Zardiashvili, and representatives of other energy companies, together with the State Representative in the Kakheti region, Platon Kalmakhelidze, visited energy-themed installations set up in the city’s central square and attended children’s, educational, cultural, and sports events.
At 17:10 p.m., the national anthem of Georgia was performed.
The ceremonial events dedicated to Georgia’s Independence Day concluded with a gala concert.
