Vano Zardiashvili Met with the President of Mingyang Company
Vano Zardiashvili, Director General of the Georgian State Electrosystem, hosted Qiying Zhang, President of the Chinese energy company MingYang. The meeting was also attended by Archil Gachechiladze, Executive Director of Bank of Georgia, Onur Sevuktekin, Deputy General Manager of MingYang, and other company representatives.
The parties discussed prospects for the development of the energy sector and potential areas of cooperation. They spoke about the strategic vision for the development of Georgia’s energy system and opportunities for implementing investment projects. Special attention was given to the active involvement of the financial sector, which will help reduce risks associated with such projects.
Vano Zardiashvili introduced the guests to the company’s activities, ongoing projects, and long-term strategic vision. During the visit, the guests toured the National Dispatch Center, where they were briefed on its main operational principles and modern technological capabilities.
The President of Mingyang spoke in detail about his company’s experience, future plans, and technological capabilities that allow the company to harness the maximum volume of renewable energy.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to deepen cooperation in integrating innovative technologies into the energy system, which will further enhance the sustainable development of Georgia’s energy sector and open new investment opportunities.
