Meeting with Renewable Energy Producers
Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Inga Pkhaladze, General Director of Georgian State Electrosystem Vano Zardiashvili, and Head of the Department of Energy Policy and Investment Projects Alexandre Sokhadze met with current and potential renewable energy producers.
The main topic of the meeting was the new management's vision of Georgian State Electrosystem regarding the proper future development direction of the energy sector.
Attention was focused on facilitating and supporting developers so that they could quickly and smoothly implement energy projects.
The meeting also addressed existing challenges in the energy sector and ways to resolve them.Special emphasis was placed on supporting the construction of hydroelectric power plants, as due to their specificity, they represent the main guarantee of the country's energy stability.
