Meeting with Energy Sector Representatives
General Director of Georgian State Electrosystem Vano Zardiashvili participated in a meeting with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development and energy sector representatives.
Mariam Kvrivishvili spoke about energy sector development policy, goals and objectives, accumulated problems and ways to solve them. She emphasized the importance of coordinated activities and cooperation between public and private sectors in this process.
The Minister presented the agency's vision, strategy and action plan for sector development to sector representatives, and spoke about ongoing and planned projects. The meeting was conducted in a question-and-answer format. During the meeting, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development presented the renewed team to the energy sector - Deputy Minister Inga Pkhaladze and new heads of energy agencies.
The event was organized by the Georgian Renewable Energy Development Association (GREDA) and was attended by heads of both state agencies and private companies, as well as independent experts from the sector.
