Meeting with Asian Development Bank Representatives
The Director General of Georgian State Electrosystem Vano Zardiashvili met with representatives of the Asian Development Bank.The purpose of the meeting was to discuss current issues related to the energy storage battery project ongoing at GSE.
Within the framework of the working meeting, Asian Development Bank representatives reviewed the progress of the tender announced within the project framework, positively assessed the activity of companies interested in participating in the tender, and emphasized the importance of training conducted for Georgian State Electrosystem employees within the project framework.
Energy storage batteries will play a significant role in the stability of Georgia's transmission system, ensuring increased integration limits for solar and wind stations and reducing dependence on electricity imports.
