Educational Tour at Georgian State Electrosystem

Within the framework of an educational tour, the Georgian State Electrosystem hosted high school students from Tbilisi Public Schools No. 133 and No. 114.
The students first visited the company's headquarters and learned about the main principles of the National Dispatch Center's operation. They were given presentations about the role and importance of the Georgian State Electrosystem in the country's energy development, achievements and challenges in the energy sector, including renewable energy production and development perspectives.
After the National Dispatch Center, the students visited the Navtlughi substation, received information about the functioning of power transmission lines and substations, and participated in the process of checking electrical transmission lines using various electrical equipment. High school students also had the opportunity to visit the GSE training center, where future power engineers can undergo free internships and subsequently be employed by the company.
With the aim of engaging the new generation in the energy sector, the Georgian State Electrosystem has been conducting educational tours for students from Tbilisi and regional schools since 2016. Since that period, approximately 1,700 students from schools in Tbilisi and regions have participated in these educational activities.
