Educational Tour at Georgian State Electrosystem
Georgian State Electrosystem continues educational tours. As part of the first educational tour of 2025, students from Tbilisi Gifted Private School-Academy visited GSE's head office.
The first part of the educational tour was dedicated to presentations. Students received information about both the role of Georgian State Electrosystem in the country's energy development and general energy topics, including renewable energy production and its development, achievements and challenges in the energy sector.
High school students visited the National Dispatch Center and learned about its basic operating principles. They viewed the control panel equipped with the latest technologies, which is responsible for the operational management of the country's power system.
During the second part of the educational tour, high school students visited the "Navtlughi 220" substation. On-site, they received information about power transmission lines and general substation operations, and directly participated in the process of inspecting power transmission lines with various electrical equipment. Students were informed about GSE's training center, where future energy specialists undergo free internships with employment prospects.
Georgian State Electrosystem has been conducting educational tours for students from Tbilisi and regional schools since 2016, which primarily serves to interest the new generation in the energy field. GSE is oriented towards introducing more young people to the company's ongoing large-scale projects and implemented modern technologies. Educational tours for students from various schools are planned throughout the year.
