Educational Tour
Georgian State Electrosystem hosted high school students from Public School No. 72 as part of an educational tour. High school students attended presentations about the role of Georgian State Electrosystem in the country's energy development, as well as general energy topics, including renewable energy. The discussion covered challenges and achievements in the field. Students visited the central dispatch center at GSE's National Dispatch Center and learned about its main operational principles. They viewed the control panel responsible for the smooth operation of the country's energy system.
As part of the practical portion of the educational tour, the high school students visited "Navtlughi 220" substation. They learned about the operating principles of high-voltage transmission lines and the substation. They participated in the process of checking power transmission lines using various electrical equipment. Students also received information about the Georgian State Electrosystem training center, where future energy specialists undergo free internships with prospects for employment at the company.
Since 2016, Georgian State Electrosystem has been conducting educational tours for students from schools in Tbilisi and the regions, which primarily serves to interest the new generation in the energy field. GSE is focused on introducing more young people to the company's ongoing large-scale projects and implemented modern technologies. Educational tours for students from various schools are planned throughout the year.
