Meeting of Energy Sector Representatives at Technical University
The Director General of Georgian State Electrosystem, Vano Zardiashvili, attended an event organized by the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), Georgian Technical University and the Energy Training Center - "Supporting Mechanisms and Key Aspects of Energy Sector Development."
The event was opened by the Chairman of GNERC David Narmania, the Head of Energy Policy and Investment Projects Department of the Ministry of Economy Jubo Turashvili, the Rector of Georgian Technical University David Gurgenidze and the Acting Dean of the Energy Faculty Ketevan Kutateladze.
Representatives of government agencies, executives of companies operating in the energy sector, and industry experts participated in the event.
As part of the event, participants toured the modern technology-equipped laboratories of the Energy Faculty at Georgian Technical University and learned about the practical training process on site.
A discussion was held during which participants deliberated on the challenges in the energy sector, ways to address them, and future plans.
