Educational Tour at Georgian State Electrosystem

Georgian State Electrosystem continues its educational tours, during which students from Tbilisi's Ilia Vekua Public School #42 visited GSE's head office. The meeting was held in an interactive format, where high school students were given a presentation about GSE's role in the country's energy development. The discussion also covered renewable energy issues and achievements and challenges in the energy sector. Students visited the National Dispatch Center and learned about its main operational principles. They viewed the control panel equipped with the latest technologies, which is responsible for the operational management of the country's power system.

The students visited the Navtlughi 220 substation, received information about substation operations, examined various electrical equipment, and participated in the inspection process of high-voltage power transmission lines.

The high school students had the opportunity to visit GSE's training center, where future energy specialists undergo free internships with future employment prospects.

Since 2016, Georgian State Electrosystem has been conducting educational tours for students from schools in Tbilisi and regions, which primarily serves to interest the new generation in the energy field. GSE is focused on introducing more young people to the company's ongoing large-scale projects and implemented modern technologies. Educational tours for students from various schools are planned throughout the year.
