Educational Tour at Georgian State Electrosystem

Within the framework of the Educational Tour of the Georgian State Electrosystem, high school students from Tbilisi Public School No. 177 visited the company.

The high school students were given presentations about the role of the Georgian State Electrosystem in the country's energy development, as well as general energy topics, including the development of renewable energy production. The discussion covered achievements and challenges in the energy sector. The meeting was conducted in an interactive format.

The students visited the National Dispatch Center and learned about its main operating principles. They examined the state-of-the-art control panel responsible for the operational management of the country's energy system.

The educational tour continued with a practical part at the GSE substation Navtlughi 220, where high school students received information about the functioning of power transmission lines and substations, and directly participated in the process of transmission lines inspection with electrical equipments. The students also toured the GSE training center, where future power engineers can undergo free internships with employment prospects.

Since 2016, the Georgian State Electrosystem has been conducting educational tours for students from schools in Tbilisi and regions, primarily aimed at generating interest in the energy sector among the new generation. GSE is committed to introducing large-scale projects and implemented modern technologies to more young people. educational tours for students from various schools are planned throughout the year.
