Meeting with Representatives of Contractor Companies
In order to discuss ongoing construction projects at Georgian State Electrosystem Kakhaber Keburia First Deputy Director General of GSE and Vano Zardiashvili Company Director of Legal, Environmental, Social Affairs and Permits met representatives of contractor construction companies Larsen and Toubro, Bozlar Yapi, KEC International, Mitas, Best.
At the meeting, the compliance of construction projects with Georgian legislation and international financial institutions' environmental and social policy standards was discussed. Response plans were agreed to minimize the risks of project delays. Also, the conversation touched on the components of the Environmental and Social Management Plan, including the employment of the local population.
Georgian State Electrosystem implements large-scale construction projects in the direction of increasing capacity and strengthening of regional infrastructure. The company's goal is to conduct the construction process in line with Georgian legislation and international standards of environmental and social policy.
