Ongoing Reform Meetings in the Energy Sector
In the head office of Georgian State Electrosystem working meeting of international consulting company (Elia Grid International and LDK) consultants and GSE experts was held.
The topic of discussion was to share best practices of Entso-E market methodology development and implementation. The following topics were discussed at the meeting as well: Risk-Assessment methodology, Electricity Crisis Scenarios Identification for Georgia, ways of resolving problem situations and Risk Management plan.
The consultants discussed in detail the content, status and standards of implementation of European market rules.These meetings are being held within the framework of the EU-supported program "Support to the Georgian State Electrosystem for Implementation of New Reforms in the Energy Sector". One of its main goals is to harmonize the legal framework within the GSE by sharing best practice of EU standards.
