SCADA Update Project Trainings

As a part of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) update project, representatives of SIEMENS visited Georgian State Electrosystem. They will conduct ten- day training session. The purpose of the session is to fully implement the SCADA / EMS System Module (Transmission Network Application - TNA), which involves an individual review of all the stations/substations in the system and its configuration in the SCADA\EMS database.
The proper functioning of the TNA module ensures an efficient and secure dispatch.

The SCADA update project is being implemented with the support of the World Bank within the framework of the Transmission Grid Strengthening Project and is expected to be completed in 2020.
