Georgian State Electrosystem Delegation Visit Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The delegation of Georgian State Electrosystem paid a working visit to Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The main goal of the working meetings in Croatia was to share experience and challenges in the field of electricity systems. The parties made presentations to each other on the rules of planning, administration and management of the power system. GSE representatives visited central and regional National Control Centres, got acquainted with the principles of operation of SCADA system power modules and inspected Croatia's 400 kV substation Žerjavinec.
The Georgian delegation also attended a meeting of the CIGRE SEERC Regional Electric power Association held in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main topic of discussion was the National Strategies for the Electricity Sector by 2030. The meeting focused on topics such as integration with the renewable energy network, energy efficiency, market liquidity and competition.
