One more Stream of Students to Graduate from GSE Training Center
GSE Training Center will have one more stream of graduates soon. The team that has been taking practical and theory classes during the year will finish the training course in May.
GSE started to provide training courses for young engineers since 2004. 119 students have taken training courses from 2005 to 2013 and 78 of them have been employed at GSE.
Furnished training center was opened at SS Navtlugi-220 base in 2013, equipped with testing area and modern laboratory. The working area is designed in the most realistic way that the graduates will have to work on in the future.
120 students apply to the training center every year. 20-25 students are selected through the contest. 60 students graduated from the training center during the last 3 years and 95% of them are now GSE employees.
Training center provides trainings for GSE regional staff besides the students. New technologies and modern digital equipment require retraining and requalification of staff. 716 GSE staff members have taken courses during the last 3 years at the Company’s training center. Training center is also equipped with reserve control room where system emergency trainings are held regularly every two months. 1500 training hours are spared for GSE staff for trainings every year.
GSE training center enables all future or acting power engineering specialists to keep pace with modern challenges in energy sphere, without any financial profit.
