GSE works under emergency mode to eliminate the consequences caused by natural disaster in Eastern Georgia
Today, at 3 pm the heavy rains and accordingly the increased Alazani River bed caused the tower falling down of the transmission line “bakhtrioni”, owned by GSE. As a result, 6100 customers in villages Kistauri, Upper Alvani and Lower Alvani (Akhmeta region) remained without power supply.
Specially equipped working crews of GSE are working continuously to eliminate the breakdown. Presumably this evening, the power supply will be restored to 3600 customers of Upper and Lower Alvani. The electricity will be supply to the customers of Kistauri village by tomorrow.
GSE is using all its resources to eliminate the breakdown and restore the power supply caused by natural disaster as soon as possible.
