GSE and TEIAS (System Operator of Turkey) Meeting
Today, March 24, Sulkhan Zumburidze together with other GSE representatives held meeting with the representatives of TEIAS (System Operator of Turkey) at GSE premises.
The parties held presentations and discussed the issues such as electricity sale, electricity market arrangement, support through the electricity received from renewable energy sources and increase of emergency support volume between Georgia and Turkey.
The topics of the contract on Long term cooperation were also discussed during the meeting. The mentioned contract will be signed by the Minister of Energy of Georgia and the Minister of Energy of Turkey on Friday, March 27.
The aim of the meeting was to develop joint work plan that will ensure stable energy interconnection between Georgia and Turkey in the coming years.
