GSE is Implementing Kolkhida-1 OHL Rehabilitation Project
Under the Power Grid Strengthening Project GSE is implementing 220kV OHL Kolkhida-1 Rehabilitation Project connecting SSs Kutaisi and Menji.
220kV OHL Kolkhida-1 Rehabilitation Project is implemented with the financial support of International Bank of Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
After complete reconstruction of 220kV OHL Kolkhida-1 connecting SSs Kutaisi-220 and Menji-220, the carrying capacity of the line will increase up to 300MW.
